| Rem Koolhaas liderliğindeki mimarlık firması OMA tarafından tasarlanan Milano’daki Fondazione Prada mekanı, sanatın sergilenebileceği ve halkla paylaşılabileceği mekansal tipolojilerin repertuarını genişletiyor. Mevcut yedi binayı üç yeni yapıyla (Podyum, Sinema ve Torre) birleştiren eklemli bir mimari konfigürasyonla karakterize edilen mekan, 1910’lara dayanan bir içki fabrikasının dönüşümünün sonucudur.

| The Fondazione Prada venue in Milan, designed by the architectural firm OMA, led by Rem Koolhaas, expands the repertoire of spatial typologies where art can be exhibited and shared with the public. Characterized by an articulated architectural configuration combining the seven existing buildings with three new structures (podium, Cinema and Torre), the venue is the result of a distillery conversion dating back to the 1910s.
In the project designed by OMA, two conditions coexist: conservation and the creation of a new architecture that, although separate, faces each other in a state of permanent interaction. |
